AI automation
Missed a call? They still hear from you.
Missed call text back sends every caller you can’t answer a friendly text within about a minute, with a link to book or a quick way to tell you what they need. It’s built for busy trades who can’t pick up on a roof, under a sink or behind the wheel.
What it costs: AI automation starts from £245 a month, for us to build, run and look after it. Running costs are separate and go on top. They depend on how much the system is used, for example text messages, phone numbers and call minutes, email sending, and for outreach the data and budget for finding the right businesses. We’ll tell you what to expect before anything goes live.
Why missed calls cost you work
When someone rings and nobody answers, the easiest thing for them to do is ring the next business on the list. Most callers won’t leave a voicemail. A quick, friendly text keeps the conversation with you, even when you’re in the middle of a job.
How missed call text back works
- A customer rings your usual mobile and you can’t answer, or you’re already on a call.
- Your phone forwards the unanswered call to a dedicated UK number we set up for you. UK networks let you forward only the calls you don’t answer, so everything else works as normal.
- The caller hears a short greeting, and within about a minute they get a text from your business.
- The text is written by AI in your business’s voice and knows your opening hours, so it reads naturally whether it’s 10am or Sunday evening.
- If they reply, it carries on: a booking request gets your booking link, a message marked URGENT alerts you straight away, and STOP opts them out.
- Every missed call and what happened next is logged, so nothing falls through the cracks.
What’s included
- Set-up. The dedicated number, the call forwarding codes for your network and a test call with you.
- Your wording. We agree the greeting and the tone of the texts with you.
- Booking link. Connected to your existing booking system, or a simple free one we set up.
- Urgent alerts. Anything marked urgent is sent straight to you.
- Opt-outs and quiet hours. STOP is always honoured and texts are never sent late at night.
- A log of every call. Who called, when, and what happened next.
Who is it for?
Anyone who can’t always answer the phone: plumbers, electricians, heating engineers, roofers, builders, mobile valeters and anyone working on site or with customers. You keep your normal number; the text-back only steps in when you don’t pick up.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You keep your own number. Only the calls you don’t answer are forwarded to the number we set up, and that’s where the text comes from.
Does it work on every network?
Forwarding unanswered calls works on the main UK networks. We give you the codes for yours and test it with you.
Is it allowed to text someone who called me?
Yes. Replying to someone who has just called you is a service message, not marketing. Every text says who it’s from and offers a way to opt out.
What if it’s an emergency?
If the caller replies with URGENT, you get an alert straight away so you can call them back.
Can it work with other automations?
Yes. It’s often the first step, and it pairs well with lead follow-up and an AI voice receptionist.
